Once you have chosen a type of glazing, it's necessary to choose between the following characteristics.

Standard or Conservation?
Conservation glazing comes with UV protection (up to 97%). This protects against the harmful light that will fade your artwork and mats. The extra cost of conservation glazing may not be necessary if all other components are not conservation.

Clear or Non-Glare?
This is a matter of preference and location. If you have an overhead light or a window in front, reflections might be a problem. Non-glare diffuses the light, but can give a matte or hazy look.

Using direct light, the following example shows how it is diffused in non-glare glazing:


Clear Glazing Reflections clear and objects visible. Sharper picture.	Non-Glare Glazing Light is diffused. Reflections disappear. Slight loss in sharpness.
